:confused:I was just wondering what you use for drop shadows? I see pages here that are amazing! Do you just use Photoshops drop shadows or do you make your own or do you buy them? Thanks for any info you can share! Michelle:D

I use PSE 6 and I personally use drop shadows. I just use the option provided on Photoshop. It just helps it look more 3D and not "flat" to me. You can change your shadow to be as little or as much as you want. I have personally decided that less is more. You don't want it to look "fake".
I also don't use the default black for my drop shadow. I use a gray or brown mostly depending on the color scheme of the page. I sometimes play a little more with color for the shadows....I have matched the color to what the item is laying on....about a shade darker. Sometimes that makes it look like a "real" shadow.
I hope that helps!!!

I use Photoshope Elements and I usually use the "Low" drop shadow option. I have no idea if my shadows are that great or not though, lol! I do change the settings on them once they are applied though if it doesn't look right. Sometimes even on low, they look too high so I will make them closer.

I hope that helped some!

I used PSE 4 when I first started scrapbooking but I didn't like the drop shadows because they didn't look quite right. PSE 6 at least gives you the option to change the colour of the drop shadow.

So I brought shadow actions from Traci Murphy Designs. I found these great when I first started because I had no idea about shadowing. I still use them.

I do also create my own drop shadows for some things, mainly those where I want bits of the shadow to be different such as bows.

Wow! Thanks, thanks and thanks. I can't believe I didn't know that you could change anything on the drop shadows. Hmmm...Maybe I should read some of the software help :o. Thanks again! This really helps!
